Part B: Accessible Information Resource
Part B contains two components: an accessible resource, and a justification for the design of this resource.
Accessible Resource
Produce an accessible information resource for Charles, to explain ONE of the following:
1. A communication or inclusion right he has at the dietitian, and the relevant legislation or policies supporting this right (you can use the same content as in question 5 above).
2. A communication access strategy he could ask the dietitian to implement (you can use the same content as in question 6 above), OR
3. What he could expect at the dietitian (this may require you to do a little reading about typical dietetic appointments and coeliac management).
This resource can be a screen-reader accessible word document, or a visually-accessible word or PDF file.
Resource Justification
Identify at least one impairment factor (body structure or function) and at least one personal or environmental factor that could impact Charles’ access to information about coeliac disease and preparing health lunches. Explain how you have addressed these factors in your resource, and justify your choices with reference to relevant evidence.
