According the Guinness Book of World Records the largest circular pizza ever baked was made in Norwood, South Africa by Norwood Hypermarket on December 8, 1990. This cheese pizza weighed 26,883 pounds and was 122 feet and 8 inches in diameter!

If you have trouble imagining how big that is, imagine a store parking lot covered by a pizza! The crust alone on the pizza was 72 a foot thick. That is 6 inches of crust!
