3. FruityBeauty manufactures and wholesales face masks and other related beauty products. It has inventory of facemasks and other lotions, and packaging as well as packaged up facemasks at the warehouse attached to its packaging plant. You are the audit manager tasked with planning attendance at the year-end inventory count due to take place on 30 June 2018.

a) Explain why it is important that the auditor attends the year-end inventory count.
b) Explain what work will you need to carry out to ensure that audit coverage of
the count is appropriate and what will you be looking for when you review the clients
count instructions.
