• You are required to research and analyse peer reviewed journals and/or texts in relation to outdoor and nature play with children in the early years (0-5 years)

• Analyse and report on the literature you review, clearly establishing the 'what', 'where', 'who', 'how and when of the research, identifying the overall themes throughout and indicating the strengths/weaknesses/contributions of this prior research literature to provide a rationale and justification for outdoor and nature based play in the early years.

• You will find resources available from the library to assist you in writing a literature review and to support your research skills. You may wish to include any of the articles that have been presented in this subject.

• You will also find a link in LMS to introduce the process of writing a literature review.
