Please read the following case study and answer the questions that follow. You may require to research some concepts, please reference your sources when this is the case.
Scenario:
• You have been hired as contract administrator for a construction company that employs 100 people to build a 5-floors building over a period of 6 months. All employees have been procured or recruited through a work agent. You have not had the opportunity to test their abilities and experience, but this recruitment company is of high reputation, so the management team has decided to rely on their recruitment process.
• As the contracts administrator, you are in charge not only of making sure your contracts comply with the legalities, but also performance and outcomes, after the different contracts are executed.
• Your 100 employees are distributed like this:
• Building labourers: 93
• Safety inspectors: 3
• Construction engineer: 2
• Security managers: 2
Based on this scenario answer the following questions:
Q1. Design the job description for each one of the roles. You can use the internet to access to similar job position, customise them according to this project. Then design and describe a performance indicator for each role relative to the planned performance measures stated in the job description you have defined.
Q2. Design a method to undertake dispute resolution where stakeholders and contractors do not agree if this case was to happen.
