Assessment Instructions
In class: As a group, you will be examining the dataset provided to you. You will provide an oral presentation of the work in parts A to D during the third hour of the workshop. You are encouraged to use a BI tool but can use the whiteboard, cards and notes to help you explain each section.
After class: As an individual, you will take notes in class as you discuss the group project. You will then write a report which summarises the analytics. recommendations, visualisations and statistics used.
PART A
As a group,
• Discuss the quality of the data.

• Analyse the data to determine what insights regarding profitability and revenue (what factors affect these quantities, is there any seasonality? How does shipping come in to play? etc..)

• Provide a critique of this section, i.e. how useful/accurate do you think these recommendations and insights are? Could the company act on this advice?

• Discuss ways in which the analysis could be improved.
