B REPORT ASSIGNMENT 

Your lab report will be will be written on your Arabidopsis experiment and its outcome. It must be completed individually. You will need to submit your report to Canvas. 

1. Refer to Appendix B for the components expected in a scientific document

2. You must have a minimum of 5 appropriate sources in addition to your lab manual (your manual does not count toward the 5 source minimum). Two of these sources must be primary.

3. You may cite your manual only in the methods section. 

4. Your introduction must contain a minimum of 4 sources.

5. Your results must contain a  minimum of one figure made in Excel and one table made in Word.

6. Your discussion must contain a minimum of 2 sources. 

7. Your lab report must be submitted to Canvas as a Word document or PDF. 

Data Analysis

You are expected to perform statistical analysis to show whether your independent variable had the significant effect on at least one of your dependent variables. Perform t-tests to see whether any differences you observed between the control and treatment variables were significant.
