Problem 3

Update the dashboard in the “Problem 3” file to be able to perform the items listed below. Do not change any functionality that already exists in the dashboard, rather add to it by making the dashboard also do the things listed below. Use the area on the right of the screen to place legends and filters, unless specified they should appear somewhere else. As a reminder, you should not change the dashboard, except to be able to do the following things: 

1. Add a filter to the upper right of the visualization that allows you to select Region as a single value, dropdown menu. The map and the Monthly Sales by Segment pane should update based on this filter but Sales Detail should not. 

2. Show the legend for what the map colors mean. This should be shown on the bar on the right of the screen. Show the legend for what the different sizes mean in the map screen. This legend should be displayed on the map in the upper, left corner. 

3. When you click on the segments in the “Monthly Sales by Segment” pane, it should update the “Sales Detail” and only the “Sales Detail” pane so only that segment is viewable in the “Sales Detail” pane that was clicked on in the “Monthly Sales by Segment” pane. When clearing the selection, it should not show anything.

4. In the “Sales Detail” pane, hide the column “Segment” in the visualization. Do not delete it, just make it show it does not appear in the visualization as a labeled column. 

5. In the title for the “Sales Detail”, change it to read “Sales Detail for Segment: XYZ” where XYZ is the name of the segment that is selected, or if none is selected it says “None.”
