Address the following scenarios to demonstrate your ability to:
• Review workforce plan against patterns in existing employee and workforce changes
• Monitor labour supply trends for effects on demand for labour
TASK 1- SCENARIO 1
Review your workforce analysis in Section 1.
Identify and describe what changes need to be applied to your workforce plan (Section 2) to maintain progress towards targets if the following happens:
a. Turnover rate increases by 30%
b. A budget cut to training activities causes the cancellation of all formal training
c. A budget cut causes the cancellation of monetary rewards
TASK 2 - SCENARIO 2
Review your workforce analysis in Section 1.
Consider the following scenarios and, for each scenario, describe the impact on your organisation and more in general on labour demand:
a. A new industry requirement established that a key component of your workforce should obtain a certification to continue to operate in their field of expertise
b. A new competitor has just aggressively entered the market and it is offering highly competitive work packages to attract the best talent in your market segment
c. A new software could automate majority of the admin work in your organisation
