PRACTICAL 2&3: DETECTION OF GENETICALLY MODIFIED (GM) FOOD
1. Present your gel image with proper label for the PCR molecular weight ruler, positive and negative controls as well as the different tested samples.
2. Discuss the expected gel result for the different positive and negative controls used in the PCR reaction.
3. Compare your gel result with the controls and determine whether the tested samples were GM-containing or GM-free foods.
