Task 2 : ASSESS RISKS

Scenario

You, Stanley Evans, the Operations Manager at The Naja Group of Colleges, are concerned about the cost cutting measures taken for the North Sydney Campus Cafeteria.

You have decided to conduct a detailed risk assessment for the Campus Cafeteria to ensure that the cost cutting does not cause any risks to the organisations.

In Step 1 above you performed a hazard identification at The Naja Group of Colleges’ North Sydney Campus Cafeteria.

You now need to assess the risks of the hazards you identified. The risk assessment will need to be performed according to the organisational Work Health and Safety Plan.

Task 1 & 2: Your assessor will be looking for:

a) Perform a risk assessment of the hazards Identified in task 1 of this Assessment Task using the methods and templates as required by organisational Work Health and Safety Plan ( See Comcare’s sample Work Health and Safety Plan – Not attached to this document.
