3. A 15-L mixture of acetone/isopropanol is to be separated by batch distillation. Heat input to the still pot by an electric heating mantle. All of the vapor that is generated is condensed and collected as distillate (i.e. no reflux.) The mixture is 28 (mol) percent acetone.
The distillation is run until the still pot composition is 0.12 (mole) percent.
