Task 6 – Marketing plan
A couple of days after receiving your handout about the marketing approaches, Wiremu phones you saying he has decided to accept the scholarship to the American university. He and Aria have decided to market their property for sale by sole agency, with a price of $870,000.
They are prepared to spend up to $3,000 on a marketing campaign.

Complete this task in the MS Word template for Part 3, which you can find in the zip file in the Assessment area.
(a) Use the Promotion menu template to indicate the mix of promotional activities you would recommend for marketing Wiremu and Aria’s Long Drive property. Show the quantity and dollar value for each item you have selected, and the total cost. Note: Waterford Real Estate Ltd returns all rebates, discounts and commissions applying to advertising and promotion directly back to the clients.
(b) Write an explanation for your choices from the promotion menu, showing how this marketing campaign will benefit Wiremu and Aria.
(c) Use the MS Word template for Part 3, which you can find in the Assessment area. Develop a 4-week marketing calendar to show the dates for:
• sign installation
• advertisements
• delivery dates for flyers (if used)
• open homes (if used)
• scheduled telephone reports to clients
• scheduled written reports to clients
• scheduled meeting with clients.
