First assignment

[1:46 PM, 1/28/two assignments for the poetry class and Language and Culture. Look at the two poems discussed in class by Adrienne Rich “Aunt Jennifer’s Tigers” and Adcock’s “Immigrant” and find a link between them! What feminist ideas do they introduce? 2/ Look at Shakespeare’s sonnet and Emily Dickinson’s poem - I will send them later on to you - and discuss them in terms of nature/culture relationship? How they draw attention to cultural differences and emphasize a common them related to immortality? You can surely add to that Rich’s poem ☝
