Task 04

The management of an automobile company is investigating the relationship between electricity cost and the volume of production. Data were obtained from last ten quarters.

1. Enter given data into SPSS accurately by defining variables.

2. Write down relevant hypothesis in order to find the relationship between production and electricity cost.

3. Analyze the relationship between production and electricity cost with the significance level at 5% and interpret the result.

4. Write the simple linear model for the above analysis.

5. Estimate the electricity cost when the production volume is 75 automobiles.
