Question 5. The researchers are excited by the potential of their new compound as the next big ‘wonder drug’ for treating inflammation, and they scramble to publish their results as quickly as possible to make sure they get the credit for this discovery and don’t get ‘scooped’ by other teams of researchers in the field. They present their data from their initial experiment (described in Question 1) in the graph below (Figure. 5), however they were in such a rush trying to get their data together to submit for publication that their graph was not prepared as thoroughly as it should have been.
